The owner of Bluewater Canvas and Upholstery, Kerry Osborne, founded his company in 1999. Before he started his company, he worked side by side with his friend Mickey to learn the ins and outs of the business. After he learned to perfect his technique in canvas and upholstery design and installation, he then started his company in a small warehouse in Pompano. As word spread about the quality of his work, the company grew and expanded, eventually moving to its present location.

The current and longstanding staff is well-versed in original factory canvas and upholstery application in addition to the custom and creative applications needed for Isenglass enclosures, which includes StrataGlass, Crystal Clear, and Rainer Industries Custom Enclosures. They also specialize in Bimini tops, Aft Bimini tops, Dodgers, console covers, full covers, and complete interior and exterior upholstery.

The company has also been recognized and called upon by several boat manufacturers for their design techniques and application standards.
